I almost hate to say, but I saw the same add that Robert did and made me curious too. I agree 100% with your statement regardingly them being legal. However, as stated in add we saw, the person building these shocks guarantees that they pass the normal INEX inspeciton rule of timing the shock extension. So I suspect many of these revalved shocks are out there and we are probably competing against them without even knowing. With the advancement in shocks these days, it's probably time for INEX to come up with a better method of policing them. As I am not an expert in that field, I cannot offer any suggestions. As I've stated before, in my opinion, these type of modifcations just keep adding to the cost of Legends racing. You start with a $100 shock + $75 to revalve x four shocks = $700. That does not include a second set for a second type of track. When I first started racing Legends cars a few years ago we had BF Goodrich tires that ran on both dirt and asphalt and most had standard, off the shelf shocks. Oh, how I sometimes long for those days.
