Sure you can buy one tire. Talk to your tire guy. Why not buy 2 though so that you have a spare?

this tire holds air just has a cut in the side wall about 2.500 inch long. I planed on using that for a spare. I might just buy another set.  :'(

Yep! I'd race on a tire with a cut in it.
Good Luck with that.  ;)

My thinking was to buy 2 new tires and use the one that has the cut for a tire swing or something. Sell it to a competitor. LOL!!!
Just doesn't make sense to me to use a bad tire as a back up. For trailering the car... Good use for it.  ;)
Just buy 2 tires and use the good tire as a spare race tire. Put that tire with the cut in it on a stock wheel so that it doesn't accidentally get put on the car as a race tire.

As far as buying your tires camber cut... Some folks claim a lot of tire wear with the Federals. Makes me wonder if it is worth doing. Your call I guess.

Steve

PS,

Yes, I was being sarcastic. ;D

Sure you can buy one tire.  As a dealer we keep extra Right Front tires that are already cut.  We find that's the one most often damaged. sold two in the last month.  We will even break a set and give you the one you need and get a replacment to put the set back together.  We can get you cut or uncut...your preference.  Thunder Legends

Steve just received another outside pair of camber cut Federals from my dealer today, and the RR looks to have more tread than the RF!  I need to measure them, but they were cut by same US supplier at the same time as my set were, but these tyres have far more tread on them that the set....might throw some of the settings out now I've got the car on rails!  :o

Are tires camber cut on or off the rims?  I just got a set of Federals that I need cut but don't know if I should get them mounted on the rims before sending them to be cut?

I think it depends on the cutter.  The ones from Ole Dawg come unmounted, but I have seen adds for other ones that want your wheels to mount them on before cutting.  I would contact the shop you are going to deal with and see how they do it.  Unless you are dealing with someone local, you might be better off just buying them cut to avoid some shipping cost.
