No. Legends cars use same integral transmission incorporated into the engine case as when mounted in a Yamaha motorcycle.  FJ1100-FJ1200  engine were not ever equipped with reverse unless someone knows otherwise.

USLC offers a reverse add on option, but no, the engine never came with reverse

The reverse option is expensive and really not necessary. Use your money for tires and other necessary things for your car. By the time you need reverse, the caution will be out anyway and you will be back on your way before you know it. ;)
