Front bearing seals

Does the bearing seal on the front hubs just push into the back of the hub or does it attach to the tapered bearing then push in?

ive always just installed it in the hub tapped it to palce with a hammer.

Cool thank you, glad you said that because fitted one side then thought about it!! First time changing these so wanted to get it right, thank you for your advice
