looking to get into racing. dabbled a bit helping out in past. i am 6'1" 250 pounds. how will that affect the weight of the car

Well, your not going to need any lead and the lighter drivers do have an advantage but you can still be very competitive. Are you looking at driving on asphalt or dirt?

Lots of guys on here your size (height/ weight). Read Dave's response to the same question in the thread right below yours. Your height and weight don't matter as much as people think. You just may have to set the car up a little bit differently so it works for you. Biggest thing is just make sure you are comfortable in the seat.

I agree. Driver comfort is way more important than the little bit of left % that you will gain by moving the seat
