Hi Al,
Sorry, have been busy and not on the computer much.
My brother used a gauge similar to that when he was working on bikes and snowmobiles. As far as I remember, it was just a matter of getting each one to read the same.
Know that's not much help, but I think it would work better than some of the cheaper units.
Good Luck!

Hey Steve,
From what I've read on the net the Morgan CarbTune II meter sounds well worth the money, around here it could cost you anywhere from $50-$100 to get your carbs synchronized....you can buy the Morgan CarbTune II for $100+shipping. Any info you can get from your brother would be appreciated.
Later,
Al

Been using one for two years, excellent unit and you don't have to worry about spilling the mercury out of the tubes that is used in other units

Thanks for the reply, how about some info on how you use it. Thanks
-
also, where did you buy your Morgan CarbTune from.
-
The unit uses 4 stainless rods instead of mercury in tubes, the 4 lines are attached to the vacuum ports located behind the carbs, with engine running you sync carbs 1 and 2 then 3 and 4 and then sync the two pairs together. I purchased mine thru the mail from England. Check out this site, this is where I got mine from. http://www.carbtune.com/

do you think this place would be just as good price wise http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc?store_code=CST&screen=CTGY&category_code=MorganT ?
