Title: over head oiler

I bought one of these, but didn't come with any directions, I'm just wondering what size drill bit you would use, also what tap?? it came from 600 racing.

any help would be appreciated

I would E-Mail Hank Scott and see what you need to do.  There are two holes on the front side of the head that are plugged.  The fitting should just go right in, BUT I think that the builders do something in the head to make it work.  There maybe more to it than just putting the lines on the out side of the head.

yeah, I know the two plugs on the heads have to be drilled out and taped, I was just wondering if anyone knew right off the size of the drill bit and tap to use. Do you have an email address for Hank Scott??

The head must be tapped 1/8" NPT. This should only be done on a head that is off of the engine. There is no way to clean the chips out of the head and prevent them from damaging the cam journal(s) with the cams in the engine.
