does anyone know  why 600 includes road course points with the oval points, the road course has its own points and nationals?

when the web site show your points they post all you have earned.

Yes, whatever you run will be in your total races listed, but you will see that the total points will only be for whichever division you are lookng at.
Ex: you run 12 dirt races and 4 asphalt races. If you check under dirt points, all finishes will be there, but only the dirt points are added together for your total
