Hello guys can you tell me what is required to install one of these gauges? How do you install them?
Thanks
-
You will need the 6 wire indicator plate and the digital indicator. I believe you can buy it as a kit from USLC. They are not real cheap. The indicator plate is about $80. You can find a used one once in awhile. You might advertise that you are looking for one. Perhaps someone has one laying around.

Your engine may have the plate on it already, so you may only need the gauge

I know the enite kit is around $250 as I had checked into this at the begining of the 2012 season. I just have not had the extra money due to other engine problems that needed to be fixed.
I have been looking for a used one too but I am not having too much luck with that. If you find someone that has more than 1 used, let me know as I am still interested in getting one for this season.

Ok great guys how do you wire it in?
-
Very simple...Supply fused 12 VDC supply via red wire and then it's just a matter of plugging 6 wire connector plug from gauge to 6-wire shift sending unit. Make sure to install good O-ring with light coat of oil on sending unit and just snug hand tight sending unit fasteners.
Good luck! ;D

I have a digram to build the light part of the indicator; You would still need to get the 6 pin indicator plate.
