the engine has the screw on filter in the back of the engine. does this part just tread on were the filter treads on? does it use the same size O ring that the filter uses. is there any thing i need to look out for? thanks cody

Cody,
Yes, it does screw on to the stock filter location. The big o-ring that goes around the outside seems to be missing.

is that a o ring i can get. or will i have try and find one. theres a place in town that has a large selection of o rings that work with oil. thank cody

I think I saw a set of o-rings on eBay in a search for Baby Grand cars. But I don't see why you couldn't find one locally.

thanks for all your help again. cody

The price seems right for that one. The other one listed on eBay goes for $100, new.
I hope someone makes one for my engine!

In a similarly related question.....
Does anyone know where to get the AN adapters for the remote filter plates on the engine?
My inlet AN adapter threads are all messed up but I can't find a replacment in the Aeroquip catalog. I'm not sure where else to look. I think it is a 1/2" NPT x -08AN with the NPT side a little longer and an o-ring in it?
Has anyone seen these for sale by themselves?
Thanks,
Gerad

Now that I think about it the "Engine Side" NPT thread is probably 20 x 1.50mm being that this is a Yamaha.
Anyway let me know what ya'll think.
