After a wreck last year, my mounting tabs on one side of the oil cooler broke off, so i could only mount it on one side of the car. So i took the oil cooler and just turned it upside down so i can mount it on both sides. I didn't do anything to the oil lines, they're still connected how they were last year, all i did was turn the oil cooler upside down so i could mount it on both sides. Motor started right up and i ran it for about 30 seconds and it ran fine. Is this ok, or do i need to do anything to the lines?

If both the inlet and outlet are on the bottom now, I would be concerned about having an air bubble trapped in the cooler.

One is on top, one is on bottom. What is now the top of the oil cooler is connected to the furthest back on the motor, the bottom line is to the front of the motor. I didn't change the lines at all from last year, all i did was turn the cooler upside down to be able to mount it on both sides. So what is now the top oil line, last year was on the bottom but still connected to the back of the motor.

What brand is it Ethan?
On a Setrab, if there is one port on top, and one on the bottom, it would be a dual pass cooler, not sure of the other brands though

Setrab part # 51-07881

A radiator shop could have brazed a new tab on for you...
But I don't think it will hurt anything. The oil just passes through the tubes in the opposite direction.

I just wanted to confirm with Setrab before I posted, but yes, that is fine to run upside down.

Alright, cool. Thanks everyone
