Let me put it bluntly, no Steve, no forum. Steve may not be the owner of this forum but without him this forum would not be what it is today, my guess is it would have folded along time ago.

Too many times I see alot of views to a thread but very few replies to it, Steve's done a great job here and I'd like to see alot of replies showing everyones  appreciation for Steve work here.....thanks Steve.

As a new member, let me tell you how welcomed Steve has made me feel.  I think he has replied to every comment or question I have had.  I really apprecitate that Steve!!!!!  I am new to this sport and need alot of help.  This site has been just that, alot of help.  Thanks to everyone.  I read all the posts, but only comment when I feel I can help.  Thanks again!!!

I agree, Steve is the reason for this thing staying afloat. browse around and check out some of the other Legends related forums...no posts since 2005, 2007, 1 or 2 a month. This is the BEst forum for people with our addiction.

I agree with the comments made before me.  Steve is a great guy and has made this forum into something you can enjoy coming to.  I originally found a different forum, but soon realized all the bitching and politics (Legends and presidential topics) those yahoos did was just too much of a waste of time.  You could find out some good info there too, but got tired of sorting through the crap.   Anyway, this site is a much friendlier, more welcoming forum.  Thanks Steve.

When I came to this site, there were only about 40 members. There were very few  posting then, and even fewer actually talking to one another. Dark Age 53 (Al) was the only moderator on the site then. Al (Dark Age53), T48 (Barb & Clarence), Gramps05 (who still hasn't filled out his profile), Elimn8u_43 (Geoff), IraceLegends77 (Scott)..... I could always count on you guys for an answer to my questions. I needed a few pics of front suspension; Al sent me pics of every square inch of their car. I still have those in my library and share them when someone needs them.

This past year has brought many new members. I try to personally welcome as many as I am able. I try to keep track of how everyone is doing during the year, both on and off the track.
You All are my family. Members sharing and talking to one another is why this site is growing. Every One Of You Contribute to making LegendsRacer THE BEST DAMN SITE on the net for information on Legends Cars and Bandoleros. Thank You All for your support here at LegendsRacer.

The new year holds many exciting possibilities. I hope that you all have a Great 2009.

Thanks Steve for the great job you are doing.  You have kept this going and have kept us all on subject.  Also, it appears that you have defeated the evil spammers.   :)

Also, thanks also to everyone who has helped with the million questions I have had since signing onto here.  I still had a modified and was not completely sold on moving to legends cars, and the information on this site convinced me to get one.  On that same note, it is everyone's fault on here that I am still spending money racing.   ;D

Things with us are what they are.
She has helped me out this past month. It's hard for me to be unemployed. Something I'm not used to. After almost 30 years of being in business for myself, it was hard for me to switch direction. I DO love my home health care. Wish I could do more of that! It not only pays more... But it is more rewarding.
I'm struggling a bit; but I'll be OK.

I follow 3 Legends sites on a daily basis (LegendsRacer (#1), LegendsNation and 600 Racing). I am a member on BandoStuff.Com and DCR. I check in regularly on Racingjunk, CMG, Blacks and LittleRaceCars. I check up on 14 or 15 of our members sites. I also have memberships on Bobs4cycle and gokartforums, Minibuggies, Chopperweb, Chopperbuildershandbook and Bikershangout, and a few moped and trike sites. I have been told I am also THE KING of eBay (I have 43 different sellers, some from LegendsRacer). I email several members of LegendsRacer and DCR on a weekly basis. All in all; I stay pretty busy and active. I also check occasionally on Tom's business site,(ARC Racing) and my good friend Shawn at AGK.

Besides my Dwarf car project, Iam also working on finishing up a go kart for my Grand Kids and a Mini Trike. I'm working on my brother's Cafe Racer as I am able. Don't see to many of those old Water Buffalo's these days.

I'm thinking about an off raod buggy next.

Even being unemployed; I manage to stay pretty busy.

He probably just over paid to buy them. And then paid someone to install everything. I think he went way overboard, and is using that as an excuse to complain about the rules. I've never had a grand tied up in brakes. I'm kind of cheap, so don't mind cleaning up a part or rebuilding a caliper. To each his own I guess.
