Hey Gentlemen,
Im having a very hard time finding a side view/top view type of body diagram so I can figure out how to paint the beast for this season. They're all over the net for late models, Sprint cars, modifieds, but I havent found one for a Legend.
Any ideas?
-
I have heard of some in the past on the Yahoo Legends Group. I have one for a 37 coupe that I can email you if it will help.

I think Megamang (Mike) has abilities and programs to do what you need. Maybe could help you out.

I have one i made, unfortunately its for the sedan body style (even though I have a coupe) so I don't know if it's of any use to you. :-[
I have 3 different ones, Side, Top, and Rear.

Post your other views also. Couldn't hurt. I'm sure someone could use them.
Thanks!

I will try to do that tomorrow, I luckily already had that picture saved in the right format. I'll work on the others and get those up sometime after lunch tomorrow afternoon.
-
Thanks!
I'll set aside any diagrams on my photobucket file.
Steve
-
Heck Ya please put the side view up. I have a sedan it would be cool to play around with it....
Thanks, Dave
-
Geoff sent me diagrams of a 37 coupe.
Keep 'em comin'!!!!
Email them to me and I'll file them for anyone that needs them.
Steve

Im a 34 Ford coupe, but any coupe would be close enough for me!

Sorry, was sleeping on the job. Actually working like a dog, so haven't been contributing much for the last few days.
I'll pitch in where I can on the diagrams. What I have so far are right and left view of a 43 ford sedan.
So where are all these being posted?
-
Mike,
I can't seem to post the side view you sent me. I would be happy to forward it to anyone that could use it.
Steve

Would love to have a diagram of a '34 Ford coupe.
Thanks

Hey Steve,
I can't remember what format I sent it to you in. Probably as a PDF file. If so, you could use Acrobat to save it as a jpg file. Not as high definition, much less space. Pass it on to anyone that wishes it.
-
It was a PDF file.
I'll try that, and pass it on to anyone interested.
Steve
-
Of course the advantage of the pdf file is that you can add color to the panels easily.

Your assuming that I'm computer literate.

Hey guys
If there is a set of diagrams for a '37 Chevy floating around, I'd like a copy of them. I just lined up a Body shop to sponsor and paint the car when it shows up. I'd like to start getting ideas down on paper.
Joe
oh by the way my car is supposed to be shipping on Febuary 18th!!! ;D

Somebody is doing the pee pee dance while waiting... ;D

I'm having a hard time opening the skins. Is anyone else? Thanks Scott
-
Wow! Sweet find MegaMang!
As for doing the peepee dance, well sorta. LOL
I havn't been this excited since my wedding day. :o ;)
-
LOL!!!!!!
Hope your wife doesn't read that.
;D ;D ;D
Steve
-
No chance of the wife reading it. All she ever hears is "blah blah blah Racing". Which is pretty much all I hear when she talks about our horses. LOL
Gartner
-
Talk her into strapping an engine on that horse,
and you guys would have some middle ground.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
;) :D ;D
Steve
-
Hey! That'd make it a 124 HP horse...?
Yeah. I see problems with it. But funny potential.

To open the skins you'll need to use Adobe Photoshop. Once you have it open, go to the window menu and select layers. Once you've opened Layers, scroll down through the list of layers and select the layer you want to affect.
There is one layer labeled "Paint this layer" It can't get much simpler from there. Just select the color you want to use, select the paint can, click on the panel you want to change...
Have fun guys!
Mike
-
I'll see if I can turn my right and left diagrams of my 34 legend into this type of layered file for you guys to use.
It'll take a while though. Going to have to do a lot of cleanup on my drawings so far.

Ok, I don't have the program at home or at work to open this. :'(

Well, I just got my new (used) car home and I was hoping someone would have a template for a 37 chevy so I can play around with the paint a little.
Thanks,
Joe

Any updates on where to find these. The links above seem to be old. Im looking for a 37 ford sedan. Thanks
-
This is a '37 chevy, but its what i use for my '37 ford schemes. I can upload all the files to it (top, side, back) later after i get home from work if you want this.

Sent you one via your email.
