Title: Oil caps with a hex top
Post by: WIGGLES84 on October 24, 2013, 12:09:26 pm
I watched my dad check and add a little oil to his engine at dirt nationals using the OEM oil cap. WHAT A P.I.T.A.!

So my question is:  Is there a want\need\demand for some replacement caps with a hex top? Or is their enough of them out there from China?

I started to work on something for my dads engine guy but it seems to have lost steam at the moment.
Here's where they are so far:

These were meant to have a thru hole and a fitting on the hex side.

Let me know and we'll see how this progresses from there.

These were meant to be used as a breather from the oil cap to a catch can.

Honestly, I see no need for this, and it seems like it would be a huge pain having to use a socket to remove. I have never had a problem with the stock one, and it is very easy to remove by hand.
