Does the bottle have a JASO rating? You need this to be compatible with the wet clutch systems on most motorcycle engines and clutches.
I have not ever heard of that brand. Is that perhaps a Canadian brand?

Hi Steve , yes it has that rating.  I am more concernded with the weight, its a full synthetic.

I know the go kart folks use the 0W and 5W weight oils to lessen friction. I would think that it should work; But get some opinions from some of the others.
I've not heard of many folks using that particular weight oil.

Oh the great oil debate...I believe that oil should be just fine as long it has the JASO rating as Steve said.   I've run 10W-40 weight synthetic oils in my engines for 3 years now with no problems and I know several of my fellow racers are also.  Motul makes a very good brake fluid, so I don't know why their oil would not a good product also.
BTW - What is the price per quart for that oil?

Good luck!

Our friend Gimpster passed this tidbit on to me.

My error was pointed out. I should have said JASO MA rating on the oil.

Chris,

There are different rating of JASO rated oils for 2 and 4 stroke engines. I just assumed everyone was on the same page with that. It was pointed out to me to make the note of the difference between the two.
