Title: How Much Fluid?

Does anyone have a rough Idea of how much brake fluid the whole braking system holds? we are going to flush it out and upgrade to Wilwood fluid, but I don't want to buy too little or way too much.

Everything is still stock on the car from 600 (no wilwood brake system).

Buy more then you need.  Always nice to have spare in the trailer for those just in case moments. 
I believe 1 and a 1/2 will fill the system.

I ordered 3 bottles of the Wilwood 570, that way I should have at lease 1 full unopened bottle for extra.

That is exactly what i do Brandon.  3 bottles. always have one in the trailer.

When changing from a typical DOT 3 fluid to the wilwood 570, would it be better to drain all of the fluid, and then fill the master cylinder with the Wilwood 570, and bleed the air out?

Or is it OK to just remove the fluid in the master, fill it with the Wilwood 570 and then bleed out all of the old fluid?  I'm not totally sure what the existing fluid is (came with the car), but we topped it up with a cheaper DOT 3 fluid when it was low.

Also it does say DOT 3 only on the fluid resivior. Is the Wilwood 570 technically a DOT 3?

If you are switching to the Wilwood fluid to achieve the higher temperature rating, you need to flush the entire system out completely, and replace with your Wilwood fluid, otherwise you just wasted alot of money on the upgraded fluid. The 570 (technically 573) degree rating/boiling point is the "dry" boiling point...no contaminants, ie other fluid, moisture, etc..
Contaminated, the boiling point drops down to around 300 degrees.
Always best to check the wet (contaminated) boiling point, as no system is going to stay "dry" for very long.

Yes, 570 is a DOT 3 brake fluid
