I'm performing some roll center and general suspension calculations.
Does anyone on this board happen to know or have a general idea of what the center of gravity height is for these cars?

CGH Guidelines:
For paved track cars - between 14 and 15 inches.
For dirt track cars - between 15 and 16.5 inches.

If you don't have scales, and want to approximate CGH;
Measure from the center line of the crank-shaft to the ground. This should be a close approximation to the CGH.

I'll probaly use 14.5" for my calculations.
I'm currently attending a suspension seminar. Most of the instruction is patterned round full size cars (Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, etc.).
Anyway, the interesting point is the instructor said to use 15" as CGH in his formulas. So I guess it (CGH) isn't too dependent on the size of the car.

All the formulas apply, regardless of the size or type of car.
If you are going to run pavement, get the center of gravity as low as possible.
Talk to the instructor and pose your specific needs. He should be able to help you out a lot.

*Chuckles* Oh boy! Roll center, Anti-squat, CG, Roll Axis etc. etc. There are tons of books on this stuff that will make your head explode. :)
Performance Trends inc. makes a four link calculator program that you can download a trail version of. It also does 3 link.
With this program you can type in some measurments of your car and get exact points of CG, Roll center and anti-squat.
I dont have the website on hand, but a quick google search may net you this program.
