Title: Gearing for a road course
Post by: free2race on January 04, 2009, 11:49:16 pm
This will be our first race with a bando. We are coming to Kartfest and plan on running the Winter Heat on the 24th. I was wondering if they use the same track as the WKA Gold Cup at Lowes. We have been racing karts for 5 years. What gearing would I start at? Any suggestions would be helpful.

not sure what the gearing is, but the use the large road course to the left of the tunnel entrance
at turns 1 + 2

The roadcourse for INEX is not the same as the Gold Cup Course.  The gearing for a Bando is 13/62 or 13/63  and laptimes in 52.5 range for experienced drivers, 54.0 & up for others.
