Title: Brake line flares
Post by: Jason Treschl Racing on December 11, 2014, 04:36:37 pm
Tried searching and haven't found a definite answer. What type of flare does USLegends CARS use for the brake lines? Especially concerned with the rear lines.

Just a standard metric double bubble found at any parts store.
I get mine at NAPA

Check your stock lines a little closer.. USLC was only using ( metric ) single flare on their line ends for years... I suggest you double flare all single flare ends

Bought my car 3 years ago and needed to fix one side on the back last season. It was a double flare.

Some wheel cylinders are double and some are single, also the three way splitter attached to the housing can be either way.  I know its confusing but its just the way they are manufactured. We always look inside the component before we install lines. I make most of ours by hand because of this (hard lines), I am NOT a fan of using all flex lines throughout the car.

Thanks for the help everyone. Flares turned out to be single bubble.
