Title: size of tap for rear end housing

anyone know what size of tap the housing studs are? have a couple bad threads on my housing want too clean up thanks

If I remember correctly, studs used to retain rear end gears are all Metric, M8 x 1.0. I assume you are looking to use a die to clean up or chase the threads. Good luck!

I have a bad stud in my pumpkin, just wondering if it is M8x1.0 or M8x1.25

I believe it is M8 x 1.0
