Ok, this may sound like a dumb question....but I am having a hell of a time removing the bolt on the clutch drum......I have to be missing something...Is there a trick to getting the damn thing off?
Thanks in advance for all who offer their help!

i use a impact gun, makes it easy. otherwise you have to hold the shaft so it dosen't rotate as you try to back out the bolt.

Ya, I also use a impacT gun. It makes it easier. ;D ;D

thers usaully enough of the key in the keyway on the shaft to use a 15/16 wrench to hold the crank shaft while you back the bolt out
-
I will try that next time....This time I just had to muscle up and crank on that bolt. When I bot the bolt out there was blue thread lock on it, that was probably the cause of it not wanting to move...
Thanks

The thread lock might have been your problem with getting it loose. Don't think you need to use it when you put it back on.
I've seen some of the go kart guys use a fixture to hold the flywheel. Then again, have also seen people use a screwdriver or pry bay to hold the flywheel.
Your call I guess.
Would think that an impact gun would get it loose even if it spins a little bit.
