Title: Slave Cyl Housing Clearance

Just got a new 1250 from USLC.  I had them install the output yoke and the slave cylinder. Hope was to get the engine as close to "drop in" as possible.  Upon inspection, I noticed less than 0.020" clearance between the back portion of the cutaway portion of the slave cylinder housing and the outside diameter of the yoke. My old engine has about 0.125".   

Does anyone have info as to what the minimum clearance should be?  0.020" almost looks like it's touching when you eyeball it. Seems like the yoke might flex enough for it to rub.

Is the "fix" as simple as removing the housing and making more clearance with a grinder?

There should no be any flex, but it should have clearance. Grind it away, no worries about too much clearance.
