Post by: apexvinyltx on August 25, 2010, 07:19:16 am
Any one currently use the LONGACRE CASTER CAMBER GAUGE PART # 78270?
Good or bad?
Anything better out there?

Thanks

I use it's identical cousin, the 78260. Same thing, but not aluminum, its steel, and about $50 dollars less.
I sell them for $130.00 + $9.95 Priority shipping.
Just remember you don't need to buy the "Legends magnetic adapter" or anything else people are selling, the Magnetic adapter it comes with works perfect

Might as well buy a whole new tool...
Replacement magnet seperately is $65.00...ridiculous
Or you can go with the Legends 19mm adapter at $43.00, but then you limit your usage/resale value.
Either one would be $5.00 priority shipping

Thanks, so do you just  use the mag. to attach it to the wheel face-center?
Many say it need to be on the hub, personaly I think the face is fine as long as the gauge is centered.
That price was for the steel or alum. ?

Just pop off the dust cover and it sticks to the hub with the standard magnetic adapter.
$130.00 for the steel one
