I am going to be getting a legend, which car is quicker, better, more responsive, a 2 bar or 4 bar car.
-
a 2 bar or 4 bar car.
That's the first time I've heard of that, what's it mean?
-
I believe it refers to the roll cage, 4 bar being the latest up date. as to which is better, couldnt say, we run a coupe.
-
yes that is what i mean, the latest update to the cars
-
Sorry! I had not heard that term used for roll cage.
Learn something new every day. :-[
I did some quick searching but couldn't find the update. Could someone explain?
Thanks,
Steve

This is only on sedans, it is the number of roll bars at the rear of the cage. 2 bar only has bars behind the corner of the body and a 4 bar has those two bars near the body and 2 bars in the back window. From what i hear is the 2 bars are lighter, but must make sure that the 2 bar is a "newer" 2 bar that is legal after y2k. When I say newer I am talking a frame that is late 90s. The 4 bar is a safer frame with more protection if you get it rubber side up..

Thunder,
Thanks for the info. Got any pics or sites?

I think I found the right bars. ???
I understand the rear window bars. Which bars at the rear corner?
Sorry to sound ignorant! I just have never heard the term applied to the roll cage before.
