Title: Left side brake line
Post by: Briz81 on March 21, 2012, 02:01:55 pm
While looking over my car, I noticed that the brake line is really close to the exhaust. Is this normal or should I route it another way? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You might want to put in on the outside of the control arm and zip tie it to that rod so that the brake line does not rub.  That should get it a little farther away from the header.

;D, that is also on the to-do list.

I only say that because I ran half a season like that, then replaced it...could tell the difference

I rapped mine in a heat shield. Don't know if it helped because I did it when I first started.

As John suggests, run it on the other side of the control arm. I don't think you need to zip tie it. Should work.
