Title: Caster question, should the top of the spindle leaning forward or rearward..

Top of the spindle should lean back towards the firewall.

 Positive Caster = Toward the rear of the car
 Negative Caster = Toward the front of the car.

Leaning back indicates positive caster which is what you want.  Leaning forward is negative caster and the most negative caster you would want is -.5 to -1 degree on the LF.
