So what is everyone running for spacers in the front end?
-
Spacers are going to depend on what offset your wheels are, and track conditions.
"As an example. use a 3.5" offset wheel at all four corners of the car. When the track is wet and tacky, use a wheel spacer at the right rear to move it out. When the track gets to "normal" condition, take the spacer out of the right rear. When the track gets dry/slick, install the spacer at the left rear to move it out.
On an asphalt track, wheel offset can be used to offset the car over the car's track width 1- inch to the left to gain more left side weight distribution."

Hope that helps you somewhat.

I think the ??? was regarding pick up point spacers. No one uses wheel spacers
As for pick point spacers I have a punch of them to try this year, but as for telling sone one else.......not me. I got a set up book to start off and my dealer to help

I'm not 100% on this but I think that they are not legal. If they are you still have to be 60" and that is not hard to get over that.

I use spacers on everything to have clearance for the heims to work correctly so they dont bind. I dont use spacres for any real performance advantage, just to make sure it doesnt bind. I use steel tube with 3/4" od and 1/2" id that I cut into 1/4" to 1/2" lengths.

So I should clarify. Where your suspension connects to the frame you need spacers or the heim will jam up. You can also use the spacers to lead the LF or RF wheel. I am using 1/4 on the left and 1/2 on the right to lead the LF

I use the same type as you described. To keep from binding.

Sorry! Misunderstood the question.
You mean spacers to adjust bump steer.

No, the spacers that go between the heims and frame on the suspension mounts.
