Title: Electrical issue with fuel pump

Need  some advice.  Switch on fuel pump bumps for a second  and does not run.  When remote battery is connected to it  runs properly.  Why would it get temporary voltage them not run.  I checked for loose connections etc.  Any suggestions?

check the grounds to the pump and switch.
