You will need at least 9' of fuel hose for one car. 25' was just enough for three cars. And yes 5/16" is what you need.

I did a test fit of 3/8 and it just seemed to sloppy, I would rather squeeze a 5/16 over the fuel cell than to have a loose fit on everything else.
But that is just my opinion, maybe somebody with a little more experience has a better answer

just use the 5/16, it will be tight on the fuel cell but remember the carb inlet is very small..

Price wise Summit and Jegs were pretty much the same for the braided line. They had the best deals that I could find for 5/16 line.
So is everyone just cramming the 5/16 line over the 6AN push on fitting at the fuel cell? I was trying to figure that one out over the weekend and was not sure if the hose might split over time from being stretched.

Do you have to have the SS on both sides of the fuel pump or just the one that goes forward? Got mine in and going to put on tonight.

Finally ordered my fuel line today. While Jegs and Summit had the identical and best prices ($24.95/10ft.), Jegs boasts "free" shipping, but a $9.95 handling fee and a $2.40 "out of the way" shipping upcharge...Summit charged $4.50 flat shipping and thats it. Here's the Summit link...
