Help!!
« on: November 11, 2008, 08:13:09 am »
I am looking for some help in moving a complete Legends body. The body is located in Laurel, Indiana and I need it moved East, US or North into Canada. Let me know if you can help in any way.

Thanx
 Geoff

Geoff,

I have family near Detroit, Michigan. Don't know if they can help with moving, but sure they could store for short period of time. Also have Sister in Lansing, MI if that helps. Have you tried anyone over on DCR?
Let me know what I can do to help.

Geoff,

Are you getting anywhere with getting the body moved?

Not yet, still checking options. My engines are more important right now. I should see them this week. My local dealer is heading to 600 for a stock order and is willing to stop and pick up my engines if we can get the paper work sorted out.

OK.
I can still ask my family members if they can help.
Keep me up to date.

Anyone in the area heading to the Winter Nationals? I would be willing to help with fuel expenses if you could pick up the body for me.

Still looking. I will help with fuel costs if someone is passing by or I will be willing to pay for fuel otherwise.

I already thought about it but I don't think that he can bring it as a carry on on the plane ;D. He rented a car from Roger Austin (Austin Legends) and flew in.

Leaving in an hour or so to make the trek...a night in a hotel away from the wife and kids...priceless!  ;D

Thanks Geoff!

Sorry that you were not able to get it moved to Canada, Geoff.
At least it will be going to a good home.
