Rear end housing

What do you guys run? Double Shear Rear, or just the Standard rear end housing. Just looking for opinions on which is better and why. I would assume the double shear rear end is better. I was thinking of adding a Double Shear Rear end housing to my list of upgrades.

DJ,
Here is a link to an old thread:

Personally, I prefer the double shear. My reasons are related to the stresses put on the mounting points.

Yep, double shear, it shouldnt even be offered as single shear.  Adding the tabs isnt too hard.

I broke a tab just as I entered the corner. Not A pretty seen. It was on a high speed track too. I had to clean my pants after that one. After that I started using CMG rears and never had a problem. Mike is a also a great guy that will help you out any way he can. www.cmgmotorsports.com
