Just start my new engine and it will not idle. Same carbs from the old motor. Any one have any clue? It runs fine but just will not idle. Thanks

By vacum leak I mean there could be a vacum leak were the cabs connect to the engine.

When is the last time the carbs were torn down and cleaned?  We brought home the new car and it would not idle either.  It needed half chocke to stay running.  Gave the carbs a tear down and an overnight soaking and it ran perfect the next morning.  Clean carbs is huge to these things running well.
