Valvoline VR1 oil

I belive Clarence (T48) was using the VR1 in his car. Maybe he can enlighten us?

I decided to take the VR1 back after I had time to look at the Valvoline website. I decided to use the 20w50 4 cycle motorcycle oil and see how that works.

Just make sure you change the oil every week if not going with a synthetic, you will be surprised at how burnt the oil will be after one night at the track.

I plan on changing it every weekend as I try a few different oils that people have suggested to find one that I like.

I know I might be new and not know anything but, the guy who is setting up my car also raced for over 5 yrs in legends and he is very smart when it comes to racing, engines and cars.  He helped his dad for all his life with his race cars.  Anyway, he said to use Amsoil 20/50 Synthetic motorcyle oil.  He said it helps cool the engine and you don't need to change it very often.  Plus it is good for you wet clutch.
