Speedway, Summit, and a host of others make a reusable, aluminum housing, stainless steel filter.
To cover another issue;
I use nothing but OBERG for oil filters. They are reuasable, and washable. Can also get different size screens to tailor your specific needs. Tend to be a bit pricey though. I use the 6"X6", older style, as opposed to the UFO. But don't see anything wrong with them.
