Hi everyone! It's been awfully quiet on the boards. Post up your questions and solutions, they help everyone!

Hey there!

I'm new here, fairly new to the Legends, in my first year with a 1250 car and have 4 races under my belt.

I do have to say that this site has helped me a TON with my questions and curiosities!!! I am usually just a silent stand back and listen kind of guy so I didn't register an account until now. Otherwise I really haven't had a need to register my account because the search bar works in wonderous ways if you know how to locate and use it. Lol

I really enjoy scrolling on here in my free time because you never know what you may find just by doing so. Thank you for keeping the site alive and updated!

Aaron,

Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the site! Lots of information to be found in all the posts, especially for us old 1200/1250 folks. With the addition of the FZ09 and the MT09, Hoosier tires, AFCO shocks, rear disc brakes... It has been hard to keep up with all the updates. Things have been a bit quiet here on the site. Not a lot of people talking or sharing insights as to these upgrades, part numbers available at local auto parts stores, etc... Although I do see some of the information from our boards being shared on many of the Facebook pages. lol!

Where are you racing at? How are your racing efforts improving so far? Always good to see, and hear from, new faces in the Legends world!
Best of luck to you this season.

Good morning Steve!

I'm glad to be here, I try and check up here as much as I can but typically if I'm not looking for answers, I tend to forget that this is here... Facebook does make it easier to find information but I like the simplicity of being able to scroll and read on a good old forum. Lol. All of the upgrades recently have really changed the game, it is nice to see that INEX and USLCI are finally getting with the times and updating these cars though. Too bad INEX is no longer short for INEXpensive... But that seems to be the trend with everything nowadays.

I am racing in South Central Wisconsin. My home track is Jefferson Speedway and I also go to Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells and Slinger Speedway in Slinger Wisconsin. Every time I hit the track I am improving everything from consistant laps to gaining speed. Unfortunately we have had quite a few rainouts so I don't have as many races as I was expecting so far this year but I continue to take notes and study video from my camera to find where I can improve.

Good Morning Aaron.

I agree that updates have been needed for some time. Unfortunately, INEX has had problems with their timing on release of these updates and availability. It is hard for us budget racers to budget for some of these upgrades after the season has already started. But, this also has been an ongoing issue.

The rain has been a problem in a lot of areas. We have not lost much track time here in Montana. I do follow some of the Legends racing in Wisconsin. Glad to hear that you are improving! Seat time Is always key. Notes and having some video to watch are vey helpful!

I haven't had much time to do any racing so far this year, but hope to get going very soon.  I will be racing dirt for the first time. That should be an interesting learning curve for me. LOL! Will mostly be racing at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, MT and one race at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, MT (my home town). We are working on some other tracks as well.
