Shifter Linkage
« on: February 17, 2021, 10:31:27 am »
I broke my shifter linkage a few months ago and finally got to putting it back together. Does the final piece of the linkage that connects to the spline connect at an angle or should it be straight up or down? It seems to be binding up when I connect it and try to shift.

Splined linkage should be at a little angle.
Might have to slide it off and move a little to get it right.

Would you be able to send a picture of what it should look like for reference?

Unfortunately, I don't have a good pic for you. Try moving the lever (splined part) 1 spline either way and see if it is better or worse. If worse; Move 2 splines the other direction. Once you are fairly close; Use the heims to dial it in.
