Wiring Diagrams

<< < (2/2)

El Gringo:
If you use the How_to_build_hotrods.com diagram for turn signals and are using LED tail/stop lights, there are two types of convertors, one for incandescent and one for LED. I didn't read the instructions very well so now I get to buy another one.

El Gringo:
OK, there is a thing called a powered trailer light module/adapter. It hooks to the battery and will work with LED tail/stop lights, AND it cost three or four times as much. I found one at the U-Haul center and paid about $50 for it. The U-Haul part number is 14494.  I did test it with the battery and the lights work, I am not finished with wiring to the module but at least I know from it back, works.

There are several other brands of them but nobody else had one in stock.

El Gringo:
OK, the car is wired and makes Honkity Honk and Blinkity Blink in all the right places. After I got my switches and indicator lights installed it all looked so neat. About half way through it was not quite so neat, now it looks like a bowl of spaghetti and you can't tell where it ends or begins. I think that's why they put dashboards on cars.

justfreaky:
LOL!!! I am sure you will have it all looking nice and neat again soon.  8)
