Re: rear axle seal

Guys need help, is their a trick to getting the old seals out?  They seem hard as a rock in there?  I have tried a pick and that is not working.  I can get the rubber portion and wire out, but the base of the seal is solid in the reared housing.

I use a seal puller like this.
