bearing lubrications
« on: April 12, 2016, 10:30:38 am »
Just wondering what others are using to lube the bearings front and rear.  How often do you do this?  Do you lube rears with the carrier still on the axle or do you remove for access to the inside always?  And I guess since on that topic, is there a magic interval that you change them at or do you go by feel and of course damage?  Thanks,,,

Ken

I use Kluber Topaz grease. Its expensive, but I like it a lot. Any high quality racing grease should be fine, just make sure that you do not over grease the bearings. They need to be greased, not packed. I race dirt, and re-greased mine after 12 races last year
