It's the only thing keeping us almost sane.  We'd be completely suicidal by this time without the heated garage.   ;D

If you think you can squeeze your car in with mine, you're welcome to paint the car at my place...

MegaMike,
I Really like that teal!  8)
Can't wait to see it in full trim!

Steve

Thanks Steve!

Not teal... Aqua.  That's what the guy said, so I'm going to call it that.  Less pouffy sounding that way!   :D

I'll get you the paint colour and brand.

Can hardly wait for the numbers to get done!

Mark,

Have you contacted Tim (xtime) ?
Believe he mentioned some cars for sale up here in Montana.
Would be worth checking out!
I can give you contact info if you need it.

yeah, unfortunately... I had to make a decision... business or pleasure. well, the business is what will secure the family and fund the racing, so it had to be first... If I could find a bank to loan me the money for the car I'd be set...lol

As a business, you can deduct a lot of your costs as advertising. (See thread on sponsorship)
In essence, your race car is a rolling billboard. (Advertising)
You may want to check with your accountant as to what he will need from you to support the deductions.
Right off the get go, you already have start up costs of  just getting the business open that will be deductable.
I spent 30 years in business for myself. If I can help you further, send me an email. I'll try to help you with your questions.

Well, she's primer grey now! Of course they're predicting 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow, so Who knows when it'll be warm enough to spray again...note to self, make friends with the Canadian guys  :D

Bring a nice Legend, some beer,(sorry, no insult intended, but not that watered down training beer that has been all the rage in the last few years) the paint and supplies, and you have an instant Canadian friend!

I'm happy to help a fellow racer.

Here is my car... sitting naked in the cold garage waiting for her new clothes.  Dropped the body off at the painters yesterday.

How could you leave her sitting naked in front of a John Deere???
I mean; Don't you think that is a little insensitive???
 ;) :D ;D

I get a day off......... I get all goofy!!!!!

Can't wait to see the new clothes!

I guess I should have covered her up a bit.  ;D  Not only can everyone see her, it is a little chilly in the garage.  :o

Hope to have the body back on by next weekend if all goes right, just gotta scale her out and change the oil and she is ready for testing on the 19th and 20th.

I can not wait. I thought I did the peepee dance waiting for her to show up, and then again after she was here, but its way worse knowing that racing is less then a month away!!!

I know what you mean Joe!
The waiting is enough to make ya crazy!!!
(short trip for me)  :D

I'm just waiting for the weather to improve; Then I can haul everything over to be welded.
I have been working on my car for far too long.
Seeing how everyone is coming along with their rides is a great motivator!

Can't wait to see the new clothes!
