I have a set of coil overs that will be setup for asphalt so that I can change things over quickly.  I plan to change tires(cut for asphalt, uncut for dirt) and springs/shocks.  I will see if I need to make any other changes but thats all I am planning on right now.

Nice to have spares!
The  extra shocks, springs and tires are a big plus!

I'm betting that you will be more in your element on the pavement.
Keep us posted.

Best Of Luck,

Steve

We raced in WI on the dirt.  The track was really dry all night, I got my car hooked up on the outside and finished 5th.  The top 5 got their compression checked, mine was 150 across the board.  I think that I may have to turn mine up a bit.

Ok all 3rd race day in the car and I finished 14th out of 18 (40 lap main 1/4 mile banked asphalt oval)

P.S. First race day just got a few laps into the main before 2 spins they sent me off the track.
Second race day new track and a few laps into the main I just lost it coming out of turn two four wheel drift into the wall ($200 to fix)
Unlike most sports racing takes two balls!!!

Todd,
At least you got the car home in one piece this time.
Congrats on finishing!!!
Getting more seat time is going to help.
Question - Do you think you may have a setup problem?
You might pose your setup to the members and see if you are in the ball park.

Regards,

Steve

The motor got to around 340 almost all green flag laps. I ran a in car camera and am told to push it harder from my racing buddy (phone a crew chief who races legends and helped with the set up)

We ran for the first time this year Saturday at Lanier. Was my first time at the track. Started 17th and finished 9th. Could have cared less about the finish, all I wanted was a clean car after the race was over, and I got that and much more. I'll be running out there again on July 4th. ;D
