COUPE ROOF
« on: November 07, 2015, 12:31:00 pm »
Just got a new body from 600. The roof is a little concave. If you press on it from the inside it will pop up and be perfect. Is there a way to repair this??  I was thinking to put the body over a shaped mold made of wood  and use the weight of the body to pop it out. Maybe some heat then let it cool and she if it holds the shape.

 Any other suggestions???

Thanks!

Back in my karting days I've heard of people heating up their fiberglass seats with a head gun and manipulating its shape. I wonder if you can go that route. Best of luck.

High quality USLC Chinese fiberglass. Wait til you have to fit your rear fenders on and the contour is nowhere near the body line. I use heat on fenders, might as well try it on your roof
