Horsepower ratings

Anyone know what the difference in horsepower and torque is between the stock, 4 over, and 8 over motors?

It all depends on who builds them, tunes them, carbs, etc.

 It gives more horse power and torque to posts on message boards... 1350 and 1400's really add a smoke cloud to your keyboard
... in reality most unseasoned racers can't tell the difference between a 1200 and a 1250 nun-the-less a 4 or 8 over motor from a stock motor. Hell.. you can lose that hp and torque difference from a clutch going south, a bad pressure plate spring getting hot and losing tension or even the tires getting hot losing grip and not know it. Torque and HP can be over-rated because driver knowledge can top it. I have seen shot 1200's beat fresh 1250's because the driver was smart
If the difference between a 4 over and 8 over motor really really makes a difference to ya, call the USLC engine shop and they can yank your chain on that topic...
