NECKSGEN Rev Head and neck restraint.
« on: June 25, 2014, 01:35:07 pm »
I have things left to buy before hitting the track. A head and Neck restraint and a trailer. I plan to buy the Head and Neck restraint next month.

The HANS has the following but the NECKSGEN  REV seems to be pretty damn good as well. The Rev seems to give aded side to side mobility and is smaller and lighter. It is 599.99 same as the HANS Sport version.

Anyone using the NECKSGEN?

Or have an opinion?

I use and sell the Necksgen. I love it.
Tony (and others on here that have purchased from me)  uses one, and he had a hard head on hit this season, and walked away not even sore.
I don't even take it off my helmet, its maneuverable enough that I can put my helmet on with it still attached.

I have used the G-Force SRS-1 since 2004. Saved my (ahem) quite a few times in Legends and Sprints. Measures up just as good as the Hans in tests but tech officials try to argue with me over the topic that it isn't as good as a Hans (or that I haven't spent enuff money on a neck restraint).. they are about $300

The SRS-1 is no longer being manufactured.
That was  a nice simple unit, was what I used until I switched to the SA2010 helmet and went to order one and they were out of production.

Yup Jim.. it disappeared in a hurry.. like a bought out design that was shuffled under the table.
I've just been waiting for neck restraint technology to be adapted to street vehicles... "Strap up baby, we're goin' to church !"
