We have used nylon , kevlar, poly, etc. lightweight type hose for a few years on multiple cars. The Summit brand is your most economical way to go with the summit brand hose ends. The are a two piece thread lock fitting you can install yourself. We have installed these on multiple cars with zero issues. The one brand to avoid is the Mr.Gasket ends, they are discontinuing them so you will see good deals, they will cut through your hose in time. Many of the hoses are rated between 250 and 300, we have no problem. We do have pretty good cooling with the three port filters and fluidyne coolers. I have used this style hose/ ends on atleast 15 cars with no issues. These ends are two piece and alot easier to install than the older type pushlock fittings that were barbed and impossible to get on. The hose is basically the same as mentioned in the previous post, several manufacturers make this style hose and ends. I suggest the Summit brand for price. The out braid material would be by preference and could effect the choice you make and the pricing. Summit has a nice online selection to look at and compare. The crimp style as mentioned are nice, my problem is I want to be able to replace a hose at the track, any length or end configuration I need. We had had very little problem with the two piece thread lock style. My opinion.
