Toyota part #'s
« on: April 30, 2010, 04:29:27 pm »
Hey Guys,
Does anyone remember where in our forum someone had posted the parts crossover numbers.  I remember seeing a discussion where someone had listed several different parts from the front end to the back end, but I cant seem to find it.  Any help would be appreciated.  What Im looking for is a part # for the universal joint.  I sheered  the right side, leading bolt on the trailing arm where it mounts to the frame and allowing the rearend to move thus causing catastrophic failure of the U-joint.  If anyone has the crossover #'s I would appreciate it being posted.

Thanks,
Knuclebuster

Been there more than once!
Its going to depend on if you have a gray or a white driveshaft. The flanges were different between the two, as were the u-joints. Dont just assume you have a white one if yours is white, since alot of tracks make you paint them white (Mine is painted white, but I have "I AM GRAY" written all over it

Hi KB,

I don't recall (or find) a thread dealing with the u joints. You can call 600 racing or your local dealer. Sure they could give you part #s. Also try some of your local race buddies. Perhaps they can give you the info you need.

Randy knows his stuff and is a good guy to deal with.
Sorry Randy! I forgot that you deal in those parts also. I always think of you as a suspension guy.
Thanks for checking in on the subject!

Thanks everyone for the replys.  I was almost postive I had seen that crossover list on the site, however between Jim and Steve, if you guys dont know about it I must have seen it somewhere else.  Anyway, if I find it again Ill see if we can get a link to the page.  It seemed like alot of good info to have.  Randy thanks for the part #, I'll check it out at a local parts house.  Thanks for the help.
