Need some help, have a 1250 sealed, and noticed after this week that it is leaking a small amount of oil from between the base and the cylinder block. I checked the bolt ( in the haynes manual it says there is a stud here with a nut) that holds the block to the base, and with a small 13mm wrench could tighten it, so I am assuming it has loosened up and caused the small leak here.
Can anyone tell me the correct torque for this? is this called the " cylinder block front stud to block" that is in the manual, but just wanted to make sure. if it is, it says it should be at 14 ft. lbs. That sound right? Figured I would double check before tightening..... I always get nervous about over tightening into aluminum..
