Help quick please!
« on: May 02, 2013, 04:08:36 pm »
1200fj compression is low on the middle cylinders (75). the outside is 130. bolth readings are when cold. the 2ed  cylinder from the back wont fire at all the header is cold when running. It is not sucking air threw the carb. I can shut the motor off from putting a piece of paper over 1 carb and nothing happins on the carb that's not running the motor. Any ideas please help.

haven't had a chance to try it warm. my tester doesn't have the right fitting. but when I rev the motor it starts to fire and warm up the header slower then the rest but starts to warm up.

When you start it cold, does it make a chirping or  squeaking type of noise? That would confirm a headgasket

and when I use the choke a little when its running to help it warm up so it will idle because I am in the north it sounds like air hissing noise not sure if that has anything to do with anything.
