I already have the indicator from 600 but the plate for the engine is definitely a substandard piece, will you be offering just that part?  If so, I'm sure I'll be in.  (had one melt earlier this year while messing with the carbs, I guess because no air flowing around the engine? oil was hot but wasn't that hot)

Not really sure yet. My machining process on the sending unit plate needs to be refined a bit.

I do know it will be cheaper than 600's kit  ;D

For any one in the SE Wisconsin, I'll be at the practice at beaver dam race way with my dad on Sunday (tomorrow). I'll have the gauge and a sending unit without the wire on it if anyone wants to take a look.

That's as long as there's no sudden weather problems!

Earliest I could have a kit ready would be 2~3 weeks. I have to wait for the readouts to come in. Price is still not set though.

My second prototype  sending unit should be shipping out tomorrow along with my first gauge.

Good to hear that the testing went well!

OK... So I think I'm ready to gauge the "true interest" in this kit.  If there's enough, I'll make the plunge and buy the minimum order of the Tinted plastic bars.

either post in this thread or PM me.  Also let me know If you would want the tinted plastic\which one or clear plastic for the gauge.

I will put the list in the first post of this thread.  Having your name on the list WILL NOT  lock you into buying one of the kits if you change your mind.  I just want to get a better handle the amount of work\materials this project will need from me.

Here are the tinted colors I'm looking at. It will be one or the other.

I like the darker one

I sent you a PM Andrew, very interested depending on the cost of the unit. Id go with the tinted one as long as it doesnt darken out the LED to much.

Thanks,

Eric Williams

Put me down for one also Andrew.  I like the darker tint as well, but don't want the LED to get too dim.

Thanks for the great work, Jeff

I would like one also. The darker tint is nice as long as you can see it at night.
