oil change

Hi all,
Want to change the oil and filter in my car. has 1200 open motor in it. It doesnt have the spin on adapter, and where i think the filter location is, the oil cooler is in the way.  ???
If i got the spin on adapter, would I have to move the oil cooler? here is a pic. any help would be appreciated.

If you had a remote filter it would be in plain sight to see. The spin on filter is on the back side of the motor, almost directly on the opposite side of your picture which if of the front side and that is the crank cover you are showing.

Thank you Robert. I found it. glad its on the back. Now to order a spin on adapter to make it much easier.
